A dedicated practitioner and leader in literacy education. His passion for education has driven his work in various roles, including district leader of Response to Intervention (RtI) and literacy in Chicago Public Schools, school administrator in Chicago and New Orleans, and educational consultant.
His instructional leadership has yielded significant results, such as improving student attainment on DIBELS from 43% to 72% at Dwight Eisenhower, and school letter grades improved from a “D” to a “C” at ReNEW Cultural Arts Academy and Dwight Eisenhower in one year.
